Well now the truth is about to surface.
Looks like Kiwis have been duped
and our foreshore is being ripped and gutted out of our hands

Foreign bid to mine seabed sparks fury
A plan to mine North Island West Coast iron sand for minerals will turn
beaches into bedrock, Raglan residents say.
The energy Ministry is considering an application from a Chinese company
which wants to mine 3617sq metres of seabed from Taranaki to Kaipara
harbour.
Ernst young spokesman Aaron Gilmour - who is overseeing the application for
Project All Black - said it could earn the crown tens of millions of dollars
in taxes and royalties.
But opponents say it will destroy the coastline.
The company behind the plan is Australian based Black Sand exploration Ltd -
a subsidiary of a China-based mining company Best Quality of Life Group
Pty..
Crown minerals group manager Adam Feeley said a decision on whether to grant
the company a permit for initial exploration could take four months..
Angeline Greensill questioned the timing of the application, barely a month
after the foreshore and seabed legislation became law.
Etc etc etc,
