unfortunately Christmas is not the greenest time of the year. if
you’ve cut or bought a tree for Christmas i would suggest donating to
one of the tree planting organizations. however, it’s possible to save
1 sq. foot of forest just by sharing your decorated Christmas tree
photo on the world map here: http://worldchristmastree.com hope the
goal of 100 000 sq. feet of forests saved is reached this Christmas..

all the christmas trees I've seen were plantation grown, mostly they
are culls from foreestrty plantations (but there may be some growing
trees for the christmas market.)
